Beginning around Kanchenjunga, the Tamor River is a major river in eastern Nepal. The Tamor and the Arun join the Sun Koshi at Triveni Ghat to form the giant Saptakoshi. Spatakoshi flows through Mahabharat Range onto the Gangetic plain. Tamur is the sixth-largest river in Nepal.
